What data do we process, and for what purposes?
We process the data you have submitted to us in connection with your application. We require your data to assess your suitability for the position (or, where applicable, other open positions within our company) and to conduct the application process.What is the legal basis for this?
The legal basis for processing your personal data during this application process is primarily Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in the version applicable since May 25, 2018. Under this provision, the processing of data is permitted if it is necessary for the decision regarding the establishment of an employment relationship. Should the data prove necessary for legal proceedings following the conclusion of the application process, data processing may take place based on the provisions of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), specifically for the purpose of pursuing or defending against legal claims pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.How long is the data stored?
In the event of a rejection, applicant data is deleted after six months. If you have consented to the continued storage of your personal data, we will add your data to our applicant pool. Data in the pool is deleted after two years. If you are offered a position during the application process, your data will be transferred from the applicant management system to our HR information system.To which recipients is the data disclosed?
Upon receipt, your applicant data is reviewed by the HR department. Suitable applications are then forwarded internally to the department heads responsible for the specific position. The subsequent steps are then coordinated. Within the company, access to your data is restricted to those individuals who require it for the proper conduct of our application process.Your rights as a "data subject"
You have the right to obtain information regarding the personal data of yours that we process. Please note that if a request for information is not made in writing, we may require proof of your identity. You also have the right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing, to the extent permitted by law.
